Who We Are

SmartWarrantyApp (“we”, “us”) is a consumer iOS app that helps you Store and Track Product Warranties. Publisher: In-Crease, L.L.C. Contact: SmartWarrantyApp@gmail.com.

Summary (Quick Read)

No ads. No tracking SDKs. No accounts.
Your content stays with you — locally on your device and in your private Apple iCloud (CloudKit) tied to your Apple ID.
We don’t run our own servers and don’t sell or broker your data.
Optional Ai Summaries process only the text you submit; we don’t attach identity info.

What We Process

Warranty items you create (e.g., product names, dates, notes, categories).
Optional attachments like receipts or documents (saved locally; may be encrypted at rest in the App sandbox).
Local Notifications you enable (scheduled on-device; no push marketing).
iCloud Sync state if you turn on sync (CloudKit stores your items under your Apple ID).

Where Your Data Lives

Local Storage (on device): your items and attachments live in the App’s sandbox. Delete anytime (see Delete Data).
Apple iCloud (CloudKit): if you enable sync, your items are stored in your private iCloud contner controlled by Apple and scoped to your Apple ID. We cannot access it.

Ai Features

When you choose to Summarize Warranty text, the text you submit is sent to our Ai provider strictly to generate the requested Summary. We do not include your Apple ID or other identifiers. Do not submit sensitive personal information. Summaries are for convenience and may contain errors; always verify with the original documents. More detail is in the Ai section of our Terms.

Security

Transport security: iCloud (CloudKit) uses Apple’s transport security.
Local protection: data is stored in the iOS App sandbox; attachments may be encrypted at rest.
Minimization: Ai requests send only the text you submit, without your identity.

Your Choices & Controls

Delete local data: in the App, go to Settings → Data → Delete Local Data.
Delete iCloud items: delete items in the App; they are removed from your CloudKit container when sync completes. You can also manage iCloud in iOS Settings.
Ai usage: Summaries are optional; don’t use the feature if you prefer not to process text.
Notifications: disable in the App or in iOS Settings → Notifications.

No Sale, No Advertising

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use ad tracking SDKs.

International use

Cloud storage and Ai processing may be performed by Apple and our Ai provider using infrastructure located outside your region. By using the features, you consent to such processing where permitted by law.

Children

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

SmartWarrantyApp is a neutral organizational tool. It does not replace or supersede original Warranty documents or the policies of any manufacturer, retailer, or plan provider. Always read and keep the original paperwork. In case of any conflict, the issuer’s published terms and official Warranty agreement control.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as features change. We’ll revise the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you in-app.
